This place is great for a variety of reasons but Banh Uot is probably the best reason. I like that the place has a wide selection of Vietnamese dishes to choose from and dipping bowls are given without having to ask. I had Hu Tieu here and although it wasn't exactly the "best" it was definitely no where near bad. I appreciated that they had the selection though and it satisfied my craving

Bad points of my experience was that the table was wobbly and kind of sticky but it honestly didn't take anything away from the taste of the food at all. I'd come back.

Not my favorite Tay Ho location (lot next to Asian Mall). The following items are usually consistently stellar, but not during my first time here:

    1. Shrimp & Sweet potato fries: Cold/not crunchy. Might as well go to VXXX where it's always fresh out of the fryer.
    2. Banh Xeo--Crunchy crepe was Hard (break a tooth hard/couldn't salvage for next day).
    3. Rice Sheets/BBQ pork/pork bologna/mung sprouts--Good
    4. BBQ pork rice rolls--meat was saucy/ not as polished/grilled

    Pros:
    -Clean/nonsticky tables, but cramped.
-Nuoc Cham is perfect on food. Consistent bursting Flavors.
    -Cheap and basic Viet Fare.
    Cons:
-Hole is the wall places are OK, but 6pm weekday-they hosed down entire bathroom in kitchen.
-Small parking lot, more spaces at Asian Mall Lot.

Flavors were there, but not as flawlessly executed as the other Tay Hos.

This place is good and clean with plenty of parking. Having the 3 combined is rare with good Vietnamese good.
I get the one with the meat inside. It comes with veggies on the side and pork.
Service is good enough. They serve you with a smile and the food comes pretty fast. It's usually warm and fresh which is why I like this place.

Most Vietnamese places around this area are good like that- great flavor and very affordable.

Banh cuon is a thin piece made out of rice paper like and stuffed with meat or just left alone and eaten with fish sauce that has been diluted with sugar, garlic, chili and lime/lemon. Usually serve with bean sprouts , hopped up cucumber and thinly sliced lecture.

The drink menu (non alcoholic) is also tasty too. They have all sort of fun drinks to try !

Ok this is for the food only. Their banh cuon is still great. Comes with all the fixings like veggies, meatloaf, fried shrimp and bean balls, and amazing nuoc mam. However we always take it to go by the Linda. Why? Because the place is small, limited parking, and also dirty. Everyone we eat there in the past we just dot. Enjoy as much because their dining area don't have the appearance of cleanliness. They are one of the original locations in OC and still have great banh cuon. The fish sauce is garlicky with nice umami flavors and a little tangy. Perfect in my opinion. That's 50% of the dish done right there. The steamed rolls are thin but storing enough to hold the meat inside. Their freshly fried onions pairs well with the dish along with sliced cucumbers  , sprouts , and herbs.

The space is very small, kind of like a hole the in wall type of restuarant. I loved the fresh bánh cun i ordered. I did not like witnessing how the owner treated the workers when I was there though. Very poor leadership skills.
